18 weeks down

here is my belly at 17 weeks. i think it's finally getting to the pregnant look instead of "she just ate a freak ton of food" look. i'm still waiting to have my first stranger comment about being pregnant. it's not official until then.

in case you were wondering my belly button is starting to change. i wouldn't say poke out cause it's not def not out yet but it's well on it's way. on one side. 

this week we had an 8:00 appointment. i think that was too early for lance. someone couldn't stay awake.

8:00 was also too early for our babe to wake up for the appointment. i normally will drink a coke before our appointment and he's moving all around the whole time. but with an 8 appointment i didn't have time to grab one but he didn't want to move one bit the whole time. he was in such a tight ball that his feet were right next to his face. the ultrasound lady suggested to drink a coke next time.

baby boy's shoe collection is growing rapidly thanks to grandma anderson. his clothes selection is even more impressive.

here's the scoop on baby names. we don't have one picked. i'm not that girl who's keeping it a secret so no one can steal it. if it were my choice it'd be set in stone already but since lance played a part in this little guys creation, he thinks he gets a say in the name. he hasn't and wont commit to anything. but the two names i like the most have been liam maxwell or owen maxwell. so here's to hoping lance agrees to one or a good compromise soon.

i think i finally have my first craving. last night lance and i went to applebees and i decided to get a dessert. that maple butter blondie could not have tasted any better. it's all i can think about now. i've only gained 5 pounds which is a miracle, but now that i know that exists. it's not looking too good.

i need to play catch up on the belly shots. since picnik has closed down, there will be a slight change unless picmonkey happens to have the same fonts and shapes. stay tuned to see how they and my belly has changed!
