10 months.
10 months?! as in 2 months away from having a one year old?! when the heck did this happen?! he has looked like a one year old for a while but to tell people he's a year old when they ask how old he is just seems weird.
this has been a fun month with liam. he has learned so many new things and he had his first horrible fever(103.8!!!). we're still not sure what caused that. our guess is either a sore throat or teeth. liam is so close to walking that it's driving me crazy! he could do it if he wanted to, he just doesn't know that. the kid will stand there for a solid amount of time and when he tell him to walk to us he'll slowly sit down and crawl to us. he's taken a few stumbling steps here and there but we think by his first birthday he'll be walking. maybe even by the end of august. i'm so excited for him to tackle this new adventure but at the same time i'm not ready for the new freedom it'll give him.
new things last month:
became obsessed with anything in the form of a ball
says mama (finally!!!!!) and ball
will roll and throw a ball back and forth with someone
(this month is all about balls apparently)
can point to things when you ask where they are (dog, ball, dada, nose)
will growl when asked what sound a tiger or bear make
moved up to size four diapers

Ahhh! So grown up. I want to hear him talk. And I love the picture of him eating the watermelon the most. Those big eyes! Such a cutie pie.

Look at him standing like a champ in that last picture! I'm excited for him to turn one. It's fun seeing him learn and grow. More exciting things to come from 1 to 2!!
