The good, the bad and the ugly of Etsy

The Good:

Within the past few weeks I have grown to love Esty. Whenever I go to that website I always know what I want to search and go straight for it.

The baby section always gets a visit, whether or not it's the purpose of my visit.

I like to get/see ideas for cute crafts (even if I don't ever make them).

I have always thought etsy was such a cute little website, with cute little items, for a not so cute price.

UNTIL

The Bad:

I came upon the Origami section.

8 paper cranes for $6.00? Those take 2 minutes to make with free paper.

Then

The Ugly:

The Taxidermy section.

Really?! Who buys dried out frogs and lizzards, animal skulls, a chick embreyo, or cat claw bobby pins? These are real listed items!

Next time I have $1000 bucks laying around, this baby is mine.

Ugh! That is terrible!
Have you ever heard of the book Regretsy? Its a whole book full of regrettable esty wares. I saw it in a bookstore a few month ago--it was bad, but I don't think any of their featured items were as horrible as this rug! Sweet find :) -Lindy

wow... that is disgusting. More so that they put the head on a already used rug or some sort. Weird.

Oh dear that is one ugly rug and ya cat claw hair things arent on my top list of needs. It seems like Etsy has tanken off. I like looking at their wedding section stuff. There must be buyers for all those sellers. Maybe I can visit the place this interesting rug goes. Oh and there is a show called something like stuffed or hung in Alaska. It's a taxidermy show and pretty interesting.

hahaha! That rug cracked me up! Only because I have a giant teddy bear in the trunk of my car that I need to figure out how to make into a similar rug. Why would I do that you ask, well, it's for Annalise's end of the year dance program. They are doing a play of sorts after The Addams Family. So, if you're feeling crafty and would love to help me figure out how to make this bear into a rug, come on over! I'd love the help and another brain to get me cracking on this darn thing.

Oh, the things I get myself into.....

Also, seen any great crafts on Etsy we could make for Girls Camp? I'm needing one more craft.
