remember when i said we found a house? and we had a closing date of may 31st? and everything was going pretty smooth?
well we got a call from our realtor saying the guy(who turns out to be joanna and danny's coworker, small world!) can't move into his new home until june 21st and wanted to know if we could still close on may 31st but lease it until june 21st. we were fine with that arrangement since we had our apartment until the end of june.
a few weeks later the bank got wind of the situation and called us to say the loan program we have doesn't allow for us to rent it out to him so the solution we came up with was to move the closing date to june 18th and we'll walk away with the keys.
i was bummed to move the date back but it's not the end of the world. it gives us more time to pack/procrastinate packing.
until then i'll be browsing pinterest for ideas to do with the house(think grey!) and stressing about having our townhouse we're currently in cleaned for potential renters. anyone want to hang out with a cute little boy while i clean/pack?!
